WARNING AGAINST THE BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE!
By Andre Eksteen
I want to issue a very serious warning to every reader of my books and series, and to everyone who sincerely seeks the truth. I have been saying this for years: the occult and the truth lie dangerously close to one another. A lie that is exaggerated and obviously false catches no one. The enemy mixes a small amount of biblical language with a large amount of deception — just enough for someone who is not anchored in the Word to be easily trapped. The so-called “Book of Remembrance” is a perfect example of this.
This book uses biblical characters, Hebrew-sounding terms, and spiritual language — but the content is a completely different gospel. Its teachings are not grounded in the Bible, nor in any ancient Jewish or Christian writings recognised by me or by any serious researcher. The book mixes Kabbalah (occult Judaism), Gnosticism, New Age beliefs, Mormonism, and medieval folklore — especially the Lilith myth — all into a single document.
There is a simple, fixed test for truth:
If it does not agree with the Bible, and cannot be confirmed by the ancient writings, then it is error.
The book does not hold water. Its content does not align with Scripture. It does not align with the ancient writings we have. It also does not align with the history of Israel or the early church.
Below follows a complete list of the errors, with brief explanations of how each one distorts the Bible:
- Lilith as Adam’s first wife – taught by no biblical or ancient source.
- Lilith as the serpent in Eden – the serpent was a creature in Genesis.
- Lilith stealing Adam’s seed – occult mythology, not Scripture.
- Demonic offspring from Adam – the Bible teaches Adam and Eve are the parents of humanity.
- Lilith as the origin of evil – the Bible teaches evil came through Lucifer’s fall and Adam’s sin.
- God sending angels to capture Lilith – completely unknown in any ancient writings.
- A Heavenly Mother as God’s wife – the Bible condemns the “Queen of Heaven” as an idol.
- God as a male–female duality – an occult concept, not biblical.
- Shekinah as a goddess – Shekinah simply means “presence”, not deity.
- The Godhead as King and Queen – the Bible teaches God is One.
- Jesus as the child of a “Heavenly King and Queen” – completely unbiblical.
- The sefirot of Kabbalah – occult Judaism presented as truth.
- Metatron as a heavenly commander – exists only in Kabbalah.
- Creation through sefirotic rays – Genesis teaches that God created directly.
- The elements (fire, water, earth, air) made divine – New Age belief.
- Father, Mother, Son, Spirit as elements – a distortion of the Trinity.
- A council of gods before creation – polytheism, contradicting the entire Bible.
- Multiple gods governing creation – Gnostic cosmology.
- Wisdom as a goddess – the “wisdom” in Proverbs is literary, not a being.
- Shekinah giving “spiritual offspring” to humans – a total rewriting of Genesis.
- New angel names and hierarchies – found in no ancient source.
- Angelic hierarchies from Kabbalah – not from the Bible.
- The serpent in Eden identified as Lilith – replaces Genesis 3.
- Demonic offspring from Adam – contradicts Paul’s teaching on sin.
- Lilith as the origin of spirits of the dead – contradicts Scripture and ancient sources.
- Salvation through the sefirot – replaces the cross.
- Christ as a beam of light – denies His incarnation.
- The Holy Spirit as an element – strips Him of His Personhood.
- Numerology as revelation – an occult practice instead of Scripture.
- Gnostic cosmology – light and darkness as energy, not moral reality.
- Humans becoming part of a “divine light family” – Gnostic self-deification.
- Pre-mortal souls and previous realms of existence – no basis in Scripture or ancient writings.
- New wars in heaven – fictional history.
- The fall of angels rewritten – no ancient text supports this.
- God’s character altered – no longer I AM, but an esoteric duality.
- Jesus dependent on a “Mother-Wisdom” – places an occult figure above Christ.
- Divine light as “energy vibrations” – New Age belief.
- Angels as forces of nature – denies their biblical role.
- Secret knowledge above revelation – typical Gnosticism.
- Another gospel constructed – not the gospel of Christ.
And this brings me to the most dangerous element of all:
THE BOOK ITSELF CHANGES GOD’S NAMES.
It uses the name Yawhe, which:
• is not the biblical Name
• does not exist in Hebrew
• is not a transliteration of YHWH
• does not appear in any ancient manuscript
• appears mostly in New Age and Kabbalistic writings
The “Yawhe” of this book is not Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It is an occult version built into a false cosmology. The book also teaches that the name “God” is wrong, and that we must replace the Word with these new esoteric names. This is one of the oldest tricks of deception: change the Name of God in order to change His identity.
Once you change the Name, you change the god. And that is exactly what this book does.
Paul is very clear:
If anyone brings another gospel, let him be accursed.
This is another gospel.
This is another religion.
This is another “god”.
It has nothing to do with the Bible.
I do not say this to attack people — I say it to protect believers. This book does not offer light. It offers confusion. It does not draw people closer to Christ — it leads them away from Him.
My advice to every reader:
Set this book aside completely. Do not use it for study or spiritual growth.
Hold fast to the Word of God.
Hold fast to the ancient writings that confirm the Bible.
Test everything — even my words.
The truth is simple. It is man who distorts it.
